Visit of Archbishop Desmond Tutu   << back
Monday 9 June
We are delighted that on Monday 9th June at 6.30pm, Archbishop Desmond Tutu will be coming to St. Martin's to speak at a short service for peace.  The service takes place gathered around the light well in the new underground spaces, by the room that has been named after him, The Archbishop Desmond Tutu Room. The service will include the blessing of three Zimbabwean sculptures, which will stand in the entrance of the new Dick Sheppard Chapel. The service will be followed by a reception in St. Martin's Hall until 7.30pm. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet Archbishop Tutu and all will be very welcome.

The Cafe in the Crypt will be open afterwards if you also want to have supper at St. Martin's
